English – For Heathcote Williams

Drawing : Elena Caldera

A rebellious and sensitive heart can never stop.
It will not be satisfied, wanting life in full
At times of both trouble and serenity,

In the most difficult war,
And in the absolution of peace.
A heart like yours is exigent and anarchist.

It makes a great noise, shaking and shouting,
Furiously, until its beats cannot remain in your chest:
The world must hear them. The world needs them

As the refined heart that forms them
Marries word to breath, and speaks politely, often gently,
But always with claws in clear sight.

The world will hear your voice more clearly,
As ears and eyes open in amazement,
Rocked by the waves of your words.

Those unafraid to truly listen will be embraced
By the primal energies of awakening,
Enchanted by the vibrations of your soul

As it writes for us all, through your brain.
They will I know, fall in love,
Simply because you are Heathcote Williams.

The voice of resistance, the voice of a noble revolt.
The voice of courage for all, a lion in our jungle,
King of all speakers, as the International Times

Calls the world.

Lot of love from your IT-family

I love you very much, my darling best friend
