Impulsiveness

 Impulsiveness

‘Oi! You can’t go walking around in your bones.’

(Impulse comes, explanations follow.)

There was once an old man who lived alone deep in the woods where he pondered upon everything at once.
One day as he sat outside his hut he saw the skeleton of another old man who lived some distance away.
Noticing the skeleton walk by he shouted: ‘Oi! you can’t go walking around in your bones.’
………‘Why not?’ asked the skeleton.
………‘Because to move the bones requires lineaments and tendons which must be activated by muscles, and these must be fed from a blood system governed by a heart.’
………‘That’s all very well,’ returned the skeleton, ‘but you see I was in rather a hurry.’
