Not Covid-19 Forever

With each new confirmed Coronavirus case

It’s getting harder and harder not to touch my face

Feels like a thoroughfare for hundreds of invisible bugs

I’ve replaced handshakes with bows and ‘air hugs’

My fair weather cycling now includes the rain

I cough for more room in the cycle lane

Getting strange looks out of passing cars

Each time I stop to sanitize the handlebars

All this hysteria is taking its toll

What am I to do with all this toilet roll!?
