Rainbow Plastic (Laughing Cow)

South East London based songwriter Lou Terry’s ‘Rainbow Plastic (Laughing Cow)’ is coming out on a compilation album in July put together by Warm Laundry Records.

Lou has also just released an album, If I’m Me Who Are the Other Three, which has been supporting The London Campaign Against Police and State Violence, and can be heard on his bandcamp.

If I’m Me Who Are the Other Three, by Lou Terry

Three weeks this rainbow plastic joy and every time
The sink fell off the wall I told you don’t think twice
I am always in the now, I am the laughing cow
Just happy to be feeding someone else’s child

Three weeks these mashed potatoes and no holidays
They always try to sell me old things in new ways
I used to stay at home and relax, now it’s stacation eating smash
Where is that kid who used to care about the world

Back to those avenues that I started
Days watching weird ads of frozen costumes
I swear when we were kids, we used to make our own
They’re always finding new ways to make life less fun

Three weeks this rainbow plastic joy and every time
The sink fell off the wall I told you don’t think twice
I am always in the now, I am the laughing cow
Just happy to be feeding someone else’s child
