Some poems

Sitting here

Feeling this

New love

In my

Hands

I never

Felt before

Realising

It was

Better to

Thank

Them

Than

Forgive

Them

Because

If it

Wasn’t

For their

Shadows

Living in

My heart

I never

Would’ve

Known

The way

Of the

Artists

And the

Angels

————————–

She sent me

A poem

And I told

Her

These words

Mean

Nothing

But your

Love

For me

Is stronger

Than

Forever

————————–

I don’t get

Days like

This much

Anymore

Where death

Is so faraway

It’s like he

Never existed

To begin with

But I know

He’ll be

Back again

In front of

My face

Taunting me

And more

Than likely

It’ll end

At the

Very end

Of a cigarette

With a sorrow

I could never

Truly write

————————–

It is the

Eve of

Christmas

Eve

And we

Dance

With

Whiskeys

In our

Hands

That

Light up

Like

Sparklers

And when

We step

Out the

Back

To light

Up

Our

Cigarettes

It’s almost

Like we

Can hear

God

Crack

A smile

Under the

Moon

And

Stars

He gave

Us

And for a

Moment

Just a

Moment

We knew

Right then

There was

No

End

————————–

Hope is

Not

What I’m

Looking

For

Hope

Is

Where

I

Go

————————–

With a

Blanket

Over

Our laps

Two pillows

Behind

Our backs

And our

Feet up

On the

Family

Living room

Coffee table

Watching a

Good movie

In that

Moment

Holding

Our lovely

Youthful hands

Under that now

Cosy blanket

There was

Nothing wrong

With the

World

And it

Seemed

There

Never would

Be

Ever

Again
