Cluster Musicians

“They’re using cluster musicians now.”

I wasn’t even drunk when I said it.

I corrected myself,
but it was already too late.

“I prefer the cluster musicians,”
she laughed.

“Also known as a band,”
I added.
“You know how those musicians
love to cluster together.”

“Sometimes in the studio,
and sometimes on stage,”
she smiled.

Putting on her favourite playlist
to get as much traction as possible
out of my latest slip of the tongue.
