My grandfather carried his hat,
And my father a box holding that hat
And I have been told that I have to carry my father
And his thoughts
And my grandfather’s beliefs
And a country’s burden
I have been told that is who I am
And what I see is a mirror
Shattered to thousand of pieces
Reflecting anything but me
So I see thousands of images
And I see nothing
My burden heavier than ever
Because I was staring at a mirror
And didn’t bother to look around
