INHERITANCE

I stared at the words on the paper which stated that everything I possessed had been taken away from me.

Not knowing what to do, I passed the paper onto my friend.

Everything was taken from him.

He passed the paper on.

The same thing happened.

This started years ago — before any of us were born.

It will continue long after we are gone.
