Few & far between. Most
times around $100 per per-
son just to have them sit on
your shoulder & — most
probably — shit on your
shirt. I don’t know what the
meerkats get out of it. Their
 
behavior doesn’t change —
their groups are still distinct
as are their roles within them;
the sentinel, the care-givers,
the foragers. Maybe I’m over-
looking the ones who stay
within the burrow &, from
 
the data relayed by those
up on the surface, compose
papers on topics such as
Effects of the social behavior of
meerkats, Suricata suricatta,
on the antisocial behavior of hu-
mans, either singly or in groups.
