Shaping Buddha

Darkness clears the room,
extends it beyond its shape
and size for the ball of the fireflies.
You play the wrong music
in your head. They prefer
crickets’ symphony.

You taught me how to sculpt
Buddha idol with air,
with tenebrosity. I learnt nothing.
Now my hands grasp
for the specificity, let me know
it is everything in that lesson.
