Singing and Laughing Poem

The last time it rained this hard I stripped off and danced in the garden
Some of the neighbours complained but in my opinion
they should not have been looking without buying a ticket and what
a girl does in her garden is her business and nobody else’s It’s like
these days when a boy looks at me like I am some kind of disease
and I look back at him as if to say if I was a disease I would draw a line
at going anywhere near you in my head I am singing and laughing
because he thinks I’m nothing but I know he’s much less than that
