CANCER WARD

chemoport with docks
but only sinking ships
is it all in vain
into the veins

defy & deny
radiating malignancy
caverns of confusion
stalactites – stalagmites

glyphosate upon
feral dandelions
that grew in the garden
now a cluttered necropolis

riddled & rhymed
once an infectious smile
flesh of once youth
that once laid beside me

yet looking into the face
in that unmade bed
upon mere terra firma
another realm teleport
