An experimental short film created by Elke Hounshell and Ash Carroll for the summer 2025 ArtWorks apprenticeship “My River, My Roots, My Freedom” in collaboration with The Well and America’s River Root’s. The film explores the complex emotions of the human body, making connections with nature and highlighting how it can heal us. Poem by August Brown.
