Flow
The crowd
Crowd on a path
Not different from a river
A flow
Where any stop of an individual is a disturbance
When any change in direction
Is an anomaly, the cause of a wave
The crowd
Where the direction is confirmed
Suggested
Forced
Crowd
Where a man with an idea of peace
Terrorises a group he calls “terrorists”
Where a patriotic young man
Parades in harmony with a group of peacekeepers,
holding murder weapons
Where the hurt ones and losers of wars in history
Are considered the wrong side and the evil country
Where a spiritual growth seeker man
Ends up being part of a religion
Where many find their place
Their peace
I get lost, disturbed
The crowd, where all answers are given
No questions need to be asked
Where the life is simple
Look forward, and follow the back of the head you see
And I am the trouble
As I paused, doubted and asked
Questions like what, questions like why
Guilty for the interruption I caused, for the woman behind
For That gap I created in the flow
And I am worried, and very anxious
About the distance to the man in front
Wondering if I will ever catch up
And disturbed by the pondering
If I ever want to
The crowd
Where I don’t know if we designed it
Or it designed us
The crowd
The largest sample of unity
Where I find my most distraction from self
I had always thought
Crowd is
The background to who I am
But I found it is a coat of paint
On what I ought to be
The crowd
On which we wished to stand, to manifest its glory
ended up
Stepping on us
Just to make sure
It won’t change
.
