The Committee gathers again to reinvent the wheel. Where once they had sunlight and sticks in the sand, and then fine paper and all those shiny gadgets we used to carry as schoolkids but can’t remember what for, now they use state-of-the-art digital imaging licenced for an undisclosed fee. They know what they want – the same thing, but enhanced and innovative – but are unsure how to actualise the vision, so they’ve hired strategic co-creators from around the globe, who send their avatars to action the paradigm shift. They’re thinking synergistically for the agile pivot and the 360˚ solution, feeding it forward and closing the loop. No one, of course, will admit that the Emperor is not only naked but also has a saggy belly and backside, and less-than wholesome genitalia. In fact, let’s face it, he’s not even an emperor, is he? Meanwhile, the wheel remains the wheel and we’re all looking a lot like roadkill.
