what are you
when no light shines on you
soft symmetrical
the thing the simulacrum in your head
electrical
imitates the thing
we fail to make sense of
(even though
your inner Frankenstein
thinks it’s got it all stitched up)
that moves in space
made out of meat
fragile shaped
by lamp-light
in a mirror
