14th July slow the ovens
bag the delivery bread
foliage enters in time
with the drone
shelter from the wave
see the week out
Less than 80km separate
the wheat field & the mill
a few metres separate you
from the baker’s baker
ripple of the sun
blocking curtain
near field briefly visited
& occupied by the flock
from a fixed lens
stray into the haze
dust lays waste
to the hedgerow
