Every few years we experience
an invasion of lapwings but the
tawny owl is strictly nocturnal
and will only fly by day if disturbed.
“War and agriculture, it’s one
thing after another,” she said.
Cezanne or Matisse? surely there
is no comparison but we’re having
trouble reading these paintings
and all this talk about art doesn’t
seem to have much to do with the
work itself. “I’m trying to be as still
as possible,” she said. Here we have
a garage full of signage and here we
have a risk of flooding. Multi-tasking
isn’t the answer but there’s a lot of
paperwork to process and once again
we’re all fiddling with our shoes.
