2 Responses to Chapter Two: More fragments from early years in Sussex (mostly in Bognor)
This is the best set of ‘forgotten’ memories of this period I’ve read. The South Coast of that era is survives as a metaphysical state of mind.

A deliciously wide-ranging and vivid set of personal responses – perhaps they reflect the wide-ranging and vivid nature of our childhood/teenage memories? What a pity that Chris Stone’s book didn’t get published. Personalities, pubs, piers, performnces, protests: this would have made a very warm chapter.
