Dick Lander by Charles Causley

Poet Charles Causley saw the victims of the first world war ‘under his nose’ wandering about his town, ‘still shell-shocked’. His poem ‘Dick Lander’ is about one of these victims and is read by fellow poet Heathcote Williams. See Public Reading Rooms http://prruk.org.uk
