How can you hate so
Much that you hear “I can’t breathe”
Without relenting?

How can you murder
A pleading man in daylight
Without thinking twice?

How can you allow
Officers in your command
To kill once, twice, thrice…..

And still change nothing.
Ignoring the cries of pain
The anger and hurt

No land of the free
Without equality and
Justice. Respect. Period.
