This is a wonderful and happily long-lived magazine. One of the great problems with “resistance” is not to become (unintentionally) the very thing you are resisting. There are various ways in which this can happen–in which you are affirming the thing you hate. INTERNATIONAL TIMES (IT) can teach you how NOT to do that–how deep resistance is possible and how it can incorporate great art. How not to be consumed by consumerism. Just look for Ms. Arab Death (Theda Bara) to show the way. She knows, and she is no longer “silent.”
