The big bang theory
Has suggested that the universe
Had its beginnings
In a ‘singularity’
Of infinite density
And temperature.
But the mathematics of this
Couldn’t take so much gravity
Packed into such a small space,
So string theory solved it
By proposing endless infinitudes
Of universes.

However such concepts are too big
For the size of our brains.
It’s hard to imagine
When you start counting
1,2,3,4… that this ritual will end
With your brains exploding.
