Living without any confusion.

The smooth sun rises in the east
Illimitable noise of crows and hens
A vertex of sublime sand.
Red-attired married women
Present their centres of their lives
They hang fire to enter the Great Temple.
Their genial eyes goggle,
Ready to tear the net of all obstacles
To reach their goal.
The spectacle dispelled all my doubts,
I could see my beautiful grandmother
In that crowd.
I want her wishes to be kept
She will be cremated here
And be a part of this native land.

Aroma of muds
Water in wells
The green fields
Fish of rivers
Dairy products of cows
Dung of cattles
Alarm at dawn
By rooster crowing
Arrival of dusk

Bio data:- Monalisa Parida is from India, Odisha is a post graduate in English literature and a prolific poetess. She’s very active in social media platforms and her poems have also been published in various e-journals and translated into different languages.
