You want to be on some people’s minds –
that occasional part of their thinking
that unravels in the way a clock may rewind
itself through afternoons slowly sinking
into thin misty days that disappear
behind drawn curtains – faded blinds –
as sleep circles what is neither clear
nor unclear on some people’s minds.
