“Stars In Heaven and on Earth” . Elena Caldera

And the sky was so close you could feel its
breath… You could hear the imploring
whispers of the stars, eager to be caught and
to be transported next to you – down onto the
old shell of the earth – there themselves to
become human,  to teach us to shine.
Or maybe their  ambition is just to kidnap
you, to grab your soul with  their long,
luminescent, outstretched arms and then
favour  you by letting you join a golden
audience, and to become with them a
spectator of the divine,  sharing in its fiery,
incandescent nature.
