We talked about love
But, often what hurts
Is that
I had you
In my heart
The whole time
And you never noticed.
I didn’t believe in love at first sight
Until
Your eyes,
Your heart,
Your existence,
Enlightened my heart & soul.
I admire so many things about you
But your heart is the reason
I still fall for it
Every single day.
I have your name
Tattooed in my heart
I kept some of that ink
To paint my mind
The tree of your love
It keeps growing in heart & mind.
I found love in your presence
Living,
Existing,
Being.
Is a miracle
I want to cherish
For the rest of my life.
The Moon and the stars
For all nights I spent
Telling them all my secrets
My desires,
My purpose,
My truth.
But mostly about the love
I have for you.
