Peculiar

When an emotional connection lasts,
most of one’s terrene term
and the limerence object
isn’t aware of its significance.
Is it a curse or the play of cosmic darts?

Travelers seek comfort in crash pads,
but these rarely swap
with the haimish of a home.
You are my address.
My settings are unwelcoming to you.

The naysayers may be unfamiliar
of a boundless limerent;
and its faith.
Will rareness always be crushed
or touted as a curio?
