That ferry ghat accumulates bird
whistles all day.
That ferry ghat welcomes painted
boats in every hour.
That ferry ghat is a patchwork of
toothless smile and warm laughter.
That ferry ghat is a scrapbook with loose
pages and a fountain pen that has no ink.
That ferry ghat is where moments are
footfalls to be erased and redrawn.
That ferry ghat is a square root
of love and light in the evening.
That ferry ghat is a dark painting
on a murky canvas in the night.
* Ferry Ghat is a ferry landing place.
