Devotees of Political Correctness are moral crusaders – they want to change the world – how? – By manipulating language and linguistic structures.
The patron saint of Political Correctness is Wittgenstein who developed a philosophy of language in reaction to science. Hard science deals with facts, so Wittgenstein said there are no facts. If there are no facts, then there is only language – people can be controlled through language, especially if language is defined as a set of self-contained games. That is what it is all about – social engineering: cultural eugenics through language.
Well, my friends, the road to hell is paved with good intentions; so beware of moral crusaders who want to make you a nicer person by telling you not only what to say but how to say it – the price of chaos is eternal vigilance.
