Dim Life

When the lights are low,
But you keep walking
On the street,
The moon is your soul
Shining in the sky.
Your polished shoes
Step on life’s gravity
And become muddy.
A traveler’s charm
You keep and look ahead.
Surprises clap for the sea,
A boat is only free when it sails.
I kissed you on the harbor
We had our forbidden paradise.
Life is a long wait
And a watch from the wooden tower.
You never know the end
Yet you keep walking
And somehow the breeze
Carries your silence away.
