In that house over there. Random but neatly placed. Briar and balaclava (hand-knitted). A slight, a plate (a confined palette), a bulge to the/an ear.  Eye takes in contraband, labels it broken, tucks it under the bed. The quality of bruised velvet. Fiddlesticks. A glass eye. The bench of no more. Whoever so sits may bolt the door.

platter, tray, slips away – goose, loose, betray, betray  – briar & barricade, bed of clay: boon/bound/wound/wound: bosom & furnace – trap,  strap, warn away.
