-The title is Kinds of Cool: An Interactive Collection of Jazz Poetry (Unsolicited Press). I have attached the front and back covers to this email.
-Publication date is January 2, 2025.
-The collection is “interactive” (and quite unique) because it will provide readers – through the use of QR codes – to link to selected readings by the poets themselves, as well as to historic audio and video recordings (via YouTube) relevant to many of the poems.
-The collection features 47 poets from all over the world, and 90 poems.
-The book’s foreword is written by David Amram, the world-renowned musician and composer who was, for a time, Jack Kerouac’s musical collaborator.
– The celebrated artist Marsha Hammel’s work is featured on the cover and throughout the collection – as full-page chapter breaks and in many “New Yorker-style” doodles.
– The book is designed by the noted photographer and designer Rhonda R. Dorsett, the creative director of Bokeh Images Studio.
-Two copies of the collection will be mailed to you in early January. I will send you an email after they are put in the mail to you.
– Here is a link to the collection in the Unsolicited Press website:

This is the first volume in a series of interactive jazz poetry anthologies planned for publication. The next collection will be published sometime in the summer of 2025. I will send a separate email calling for submissions in the near future, so please be on the lookout for it.
I want to thank you for submitting your work. I am very proud of the collection, and excited to share it with you soon!
Don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions.
