Of happy, and sad faces.
Of frowns and crowns,
black, white, and brown!
Why be afraid?
Life is just a masquerade
Afraid of the cacophony
emanating from the Tower of Babel?
It will sublimate soon.
So croon a happy song,
looking forward to the dinner gong!
Why be afraid?
Life is just a masquerade
There are folks of all sorts
Masked, Unmasked
Multi-taskers on the wrong foot caught.
Flamboyance and narcissism.
Lovers and haters
Teeth graters and baiters.
All juxtaposed
Beatific, blissful, blithe.
Pouting, doubting.
Folks with clout.
Louts indulging in bellicose bouts!
But why be afraid?
Life is just a masquerade.
Crowns will tumble down
So why frown ?
Why feel down in the dumps ?
But why be afraid?
Life is just a masquerade.
