When you’re in love you open your heart.
You open it up as never before.
You hold nothing back. Nothing is secret
In your past, your present, your future.
Then both your hearts seem to beat as one.
You seem to be becoming one person.
Your head’s on fire as your body’s uniting
Singeing your soul with a heavenly arson.
Empowered you’re now tempting providence,
Wanting the sensation to go on forever.
Your heartbeat seems aligned to the cosmos
In a union that nothing can sever.
Every popular song is a testament
To the heart as man’s primal organ.
A heart’s breaking can cause a tragedy
And its joy change the world’s fortune.

So beautiful. So true. We need more heart, more feeling, more unity and union (but fewer babies); less clever, clever, less disconnection. If eros could open us up for agape…What a wonderful world it would be.
