I’ve been cycling the Santa Ana River Trail for 40 years. This area was once clean and safe. Now there are bike-jackings, robberies, muggings, and cyclists must dodge dazed and oblivious homeless people loitering on the bike path. Some hold real or imaginary cables to cause cyclists to crash or brake.
