song of the orange grace

my ash-grey palm; all ash, like the once-was jungle.
This is the fantasy of green, this is a green memory,
i’m only imagining I can hear birdsong and the light
gurgling stream of clear water. My orange fur
lifts like an orange feather in light, in movement,
on my gentle feet, and in my long arms attaching to the heavens.
My grey palm; gesture of all my orange grace

橙⾊恩典之歌 song of the orange grace ⻢永波 译
