Created by Simon Miles, The Identity Parade is a visual depiction of the extreme states of bipolar mental illness, which is sometimes called manic depression. It traces a course from ‘normality’, through dis-integrative psychosis, to a re-integrated well-being through artistic creation. (For more information see the Background pages.)
Comprising over 300 pages and split into 8 parts, The Identity Parade corresponds with an emotional year in the life of its protagonist, Simon Paternoster
