1.
Like deadly red ants
down they went into you, came back
out through a crack in the wall,
finding in my right foot
a good biting place.
2.
The glass, the old faces, the night,
I look up at the sky.
It opens another front in the eyes.
A red moon in the mouth.
I still search for dry blood in the fissures.
3.
There are roots deep within.
Maybe you are full of happiness.
Our eyes trapped
between golden brown streaks of light.
We stand at the edge of the spires.
