Camping

“You don’t really want to go camping, do you?”

“I don’t,” I agreed.
“Insects find me highly attractive!
All the ones that bite.”

“I highly doubt all insects are attracted to you.”

“Just the biting ones.”
I corrected her.
“When I was a kid, the tooth fairy came
and bit me with my own teeth”

“That doesn’t make any sense,”
she scoffed.
“And what does that have to do with camping?”

“I’d imagine the tooth fairy doesn’t want
to go camping either,”
I said.
