Most people asked where the site was for Bob Dylan’s Subterranean Homesick Blues, say it was New York. In fact it was in London, as poet-psychogeographer Niall McDevitt will explain on one of his renowned walks, on Sunday 9 September. Taking a walk of discovery along the Thames Embankment, tracing the 700-year history of poets and poetry in the area, you will learn what links Bob Dylan with the father of English poetry, Geoffrey Chaucer, who was writing 700 years before Dylan made this video.
