Where Rain Meets Tomorrow

Her umbrella slaughters the rain for her;

her child skips ahead into the slurred oblivion,

the circular train completing its round;

“Come here! Watch the crossing!” she shouts.

The shit is knee-deep.

Two canoes from the hell arrive to the paradise of kissing.

In the embrace of the lovers rain remains inclusive.

“Come here!” shouts a mother already late for tomorrow.
