Black & White

I just don’t get this dressing-up thing:
all of us dressed in the same clothes,
all black & white like a page of prose.
Wearing a neck-tie proves nothing worth proving.

I refuse to succumb to your terms & conditions
(& from the outside, it all looks so strange:
you can keep your limited sartorial range);
I don’t give two hoots for absurd traditions.

Why should I wear your uniform?
To hell with the human factory farmers;
I’d rather turn up in my pyjamas:
make casual self-expression the norm.

    2. This made me smile. “Refuse to be boxed”, say I.
