coexistence of a whole aesthetic load

(twirl the spintop of anxiety freedom)*

fair do’s to tremors of activating stress
imposing pressure from a colour and its dominion
this ribbon of pink flaunts an unevolved pending phase
a blue strand assimilates with it, ragtag improbable union

paper sheet, drench of daylight, communion wafer, bridal virgin
however mindfully I design, white bleaches, as if in mock sincerity
solid tidal wave, I stare into self-erasing spears of paint puritanism
in a gyroscope of lateral swiping, ways to act multiply strangely

thin black overlays, elastic borders, a containment gesture
more reverse artistry, an end conceded in frayed edges of lace
area, relation and specifics are isolated, disconnected when together
subject matter, the gamemaster who stops them scattering into space

*“Anxiety is the dizziness of freedom” ― Søren Kierkegaard

Note: this poem was written as a voice evocation inspired by an individual abstract
ink painting by David Miller, named by him “coexistence”.
