My boredom crosses the border of two states.
Between the dry grasses from both sides abiding ‘Mark time’
a yellow and black canine wags its tail,
no other pennon to speak of, and turns its barking
towards the passing car.
My boredom gets a gun, kisses my love and falls into the abyss.
Traveling to the other state.
You may know what I talk about, right? You know the feeling, right?
Why do I feel I did this before?
The last sun finishes its lap. Perhaps
my father did this, and I borrow his memory, his money and travel
with a gun asleep between my legs.
To the other state. You know what I mean, right?
