This poem is a blank page
for there are no words here
to describe skin flayed by wire
for there are no words here
to rescue brutalised children
for there are no words here
to unsuffocate the plasticated sea
There are no words here
to give respite to the needled and the homeless
there are no words here
that know the pain of a soul walled off
no words here
that don’t drown mid-ocean on a hope that doesn’t float
no words here
that can be heard over the thick all-white lies
no words
that can de-fuck the planet.
