I Kissed the Book

I kissed the last book
After I finished reading it.

Never was it done so easy
It was not a task

Because I never felt it as a burden.

The weight of words can reveal.
The burden is let loose.

I kiss the last mental display,
The words move me like images.

I see words like a movie, as I read.
Wake me not from this spellbinding life.

My hands are firm,
I see the world through the height of words.

Speaking is futile,
When I read the words perform actions.

Blessed is the senses,
When I distill the equivocation.

The liquid electricity of words
Shine the dark road to the unseen soul.

Reading lets the light dance
In the open cosmos.
