Jelly

Behold a swaggering Behemoth!

It shakes on wheels of jelly;

Seven giant spinning plates,

On them important items slouch.

Wrapped around in ‘mazing colours

The Gigantean plows the ghosted way.

There rises through the misted floor

A figure dressed in hurried  panic,

And upon a mystic solid wall

He writes “10 of 10”, and sinks again,

On his lips a flickering smile mysterious.

Relaxing beneath a tatty varnished floor

Cobwebs build sticky palaces.

Bursting through, beady mousey eyes

look with a distant tenderness

at a world cool focused and diverse.

Dust swirls and a city materializes.

Upon the swirling eddies, a buddha proclaims,

Bright lights and shaking jelly words

A song so light and breezy, he makes

an oasis for weary souls.
