LILAC
We watched the seagulls
The fountain at the boardwalk
You wore your hair up
Plain dark sun glasses rested
On your cheekbones pale
Small World Bookstore
We scanned the black- and-white
Photography books
And criticized the lack of
Diversity in the poetry
Section Another Autumnal
Another Autumnal Another
Autumnal.
