The experimental film PEDOGENIS builds up the tension between the trimmed notion of our vegetation and the naturally organic sections of nature in an abstract way. Through its focus and abstraction, the work aims to reflect a new perspective on society’s treatment of our soil. The diploma film was realized in the Motion Design course at the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg and supervised by Prof. Dr. Heike Sperling and Alexander Hanowski.
